Toni's grandmother is a psychopath.
Her sister is a ghost.
Her boyfriend is possessed.
And she has no idea who she is.

Summer vacation is ruined when Toni's twin sister, Sara, dies. Instead of walking into the light, Sara stomps directly away from it, totally pissed she didn't die in her skinny jeans. That's when Sara finds out their grandmother has a gift for talking to dead people, and two spritely spirits and a nasty soothsayer named Bartholomew are all working their angle with Toni's future caught in between.

Dear old Granny's determined not to be the last necromancer in the family, but with the death of her promiscuous granddaughter, her only option is Toni, who must remain a virgin until her eighteenth birthday without any ghostly interference from Sara.

Sara's not having any of it; especially since the guy Granny's conspiring with is the same guy that assisted in Sara's demise. Toni needs help! But protecting her sister is complicating all the ghostly fun on the other side!

Can death stop a twin? Maybe not, but Granny knows Dead Girls Never Shut Up.

***PG suggested—mild adult content and profanity.

About the Author

I've always been weird, even as a child. Might've been influenced by all those fairies and trolls living in and around the streams behind Grandma's house. Today it probably has something to do with five crazy vamp-women, a fanged tyke, fairy, troll, werewolf, demon, and several sexy immortals living in my head.

In reality I live with my husband and my three King Charles Spaniels on 50 acres of woods, fields, and streams in upper Michigan; hunt deer with my Ruger or crossbow, paint watercolors, sculpture stained glass, and chase butterflies with my dogs.

Sunday Sneak Peek and Update on Watch Me (A Touched Trilogy, #3)

The final installment in A Touched Trilogy was originally scheduled for release in the winter of 2013. Then life hit. In a massive way. And Watch Me was put on the back burner. I've been working on and off on other pieces, but Chloe's story just stopped. If you are a writer, you'll understand how a character can become very real to the author, and frankly I wanted to take all of my frustrations out on Chloe. If I had forced myself to work on Watch Me, I probably would have killed off Chloe and made the story Owen or Bianca's.

Needless to say, I didn't think readers would be too impressed with that kind of plot twist. So, I stopped forcing myself. Lately, I've had readers ask if I plan to finish trilogy and the answer is yes. I am working on it now and am about a third done. I am hoping now for an early 2015 release date. To keep myself going, I will start posting Sunday Sneak Peeks. Hopefully, Chloe's voice will keep speaking to me.

Sneak Peek - Watch Me (A Touched Trilogy, #3)

“Your sister is turning into a complete drag,” Bianca said, sliding on to the bench across from me.

“Which one?” Nadine asked.

“Phoebe,” I answered before Bianca could say anything. There was no way Bianca would complain about Lily because Lils was just too sweet to be a drag. Phoebe on the other hand could drag anyone down with her if she felt like it. Although, I had a feeling Bianca was thinking more about how boring Phoebe had become. “What’s she doing now?”

“She totally ditched me for Nathan. Again. I wish they’d just do it and then she’d get over it. I mean ever since you told her they were going to and then they didn’t, she’s like waiting for it to happen.” Bianca reached over and grabbed one of the grapes sitting on my tray. “I still can’t believe you told her that. It was awesome.”

That’s what I liked about Bianca. She was friends with both my sister and me, but it was like she fed off the drama between us. Possibly since her own siblings were way to boring for her tastes.

“I don’t get it,” Nadine said, looking between Bianca and I. “Why would she believe you about knowing she and Nathan were going to do it?”

Bianca raised a brow and looked to me. My sisters and I were as far from normal as people got in Beachgrove, California.

My youngest sister by about ten minutes, Lily, was able to heal people with a touch. She wasn’t quite the miracle worker our Uncle Silas was, but she was pretty handy with minor cuts, bruises, and of course Phoebe’s constant teenage angst. Phoebe, the middle triplet was a truth teller. She was still figuring out what that meant, but as far as I could tell, she had a voice in her head telling her when someone was lying. Our nanna called it the gift of discernment. I called it the gift of pain in the ass. As for me, well, I saw the future and, in the words of Nadine, it “totally sucks”.

Review:
Kissed was a very quick read. Not because it was short, but because it was a very engaging story. It was also not what I was expecting. The description really only addresses the first third of the book, and where it ends is where the action picks up.

Naomi was  great character. She begins the story as a frightened girl, who is looking for someone to save her. As the story progresses she becomes stronger, willing to do the things she never would have dreamed of doing before. The changes in her though are believable as she adjusts to everything that happens to her and with Kai.

This book was much more than I thought it would be and I am very excited to see where this series goes.

*Kissed Blog Tour* Guest Post by Kimberly Loth

Dream Cast and Theme Songs - A Guest Post by Kimberly Loth

Dreamcasts are so much fun!!! Here is mine along with theme songs for each character.

Meet My main Character: Naomi-Obedient, beautiful, and brave, she’s been oppressed her whole life and she spends most of the book trying to figure out how to overcome that.

Naomi
Dreamcast: Chloe Moretz

Theme song: Are You Gonna Kiss me or Not? by Thompson Square

After Naomi, my favorite characters are her boys. I love love love Love triangles, so of course I wrote one. Will Naomi pick the right one in the end?

Kai
Dreamcast: Matt Lanter
Theme Song: Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi

Naomi's thoughts: "I looked up and saw a very handsome boy smiling down at me. He had coarse brown hair that curled around his ears and it looked like he hadn’t shaved in a few days, but he had a smile to die for."

Puck
Dreamcast: Adam Lambert

Theme Song: If I had you by Adam Lambert

Naomi's thoughts: "In the center of the picture sat a young man. He hugged his knees to his chest with hands that had painted black nails. His entire outfit was nearly all black, from the chunky boots to the half ripped t-shirt. I leaned closer to the picture. He had thick eyeliner and his hair stuck up in four-inch spikes, tipped with violet."

Throughout the book Naomi makes several friends, but her best friend is Ruth.

Ruth
Dreamcast: Molly Quinn
Theme Song: Brave by Sara Bareilles

Naomi's thoughts: "Her heart-shaped face was surrounded by hair that burst from her head like orange corkscrew noodles and her baby blue eyes sparkled with excitement. She looked a little crazy, but then I wasn’t naturally a good judge of character."

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my picks. If you’ve read the book, share your ideas. Who would you have picked?
